The 2001 Oregon Legislature adopted HB 2918, which established the Oregon Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Services Fund. The $2.5 million fund was establish to accomplish three goals:
The Attorney General, in cooperation with a broad array of state agencies, advocacy groups, victims, county governments and local services, is charged with the development of a plan for the allocation of the appropriated funds.
